New Resources on the Arts Framework Hub!

Announcing New Resources!

The California County Superintendents Arts Initiative and The California Arts Project (TCAP) are pleased to announce new resources have been published on the California Arts Education Framework Resources for Implementation website.

Explore the collection of resources for Educators and Administrators, and new resources, added in 2023, for Parents and Families, and Cultural and Community Assets to gain a greater understanding of the California Arts Education Framework!

The resources for Parents and Families help inform engagement with school and district leaders to determine district priorities and goals for the Local Control Accountability Plans (LCAPs).

The resources for Community and Cultural Assets, sometimes referred to as “arts providers”, including museums and museum educators, teaching artists, theaters, and symphonies, explore how the framework can support their efforts when working in schools.

Explore the rest of the resources on the website including slide presentations, infographics, and video, to learn how the California Arts Education Framework supports:

  • Developing students’ artistic literacy
  • Implementing the California Arts Standards for Public Schools, Prekindergarten Through Grade Twelve (Arts Standards)
  • Providing equitable arts education for each and every student
Watch a short animation of how one teaching artist finds the CA Arts Education Framework and Standards useful when planning instruction.
